Overview

Nkuu village is located along the slopes of mountain Kilimanjaro in Haidistrict. The area is very productive for cultivatingbanana,coffee and vegetables. Due to the changes of weather rainfall are not enough and reliable for small farmers to have enough harvest. Development of irrigation system is an initiative project which enable peasant to have produce all year roundwith the increase of population.

Demand for land and food increases. Thus irrigation scheme is very important to ensure wise use of the limitedresources and are the same time provide enough food.

Most of the youth are engage in small cultivation farms for vegetables for quick harvest.

Our company Lava Peaks Adventures play great role in rehabilitation of the scheme and water distribution to new sites to reduces competition and conflicts among the peasant.

1.Rongai Route
